PNGFA HANDS DOWN DECISION ON DRUNK PNG PACIFIC GAMES ATHLETES

85% of players involved in a drink up during the Pacific Games in Samoa early this year will be given letters outlining the penalties handed down by the PNG Football Association.

PNGFA President John Kapi Natto told this newsroom, these players involved in the incident will be suspended.

It is yet to be decided how long each player will be suspended for depending on the investigation.

Mr. Kapi Natto says discipline is paramount and the PNGFA will do all it can to ensure all players and officials adhere to the rules of the game.

Meantime, Mr. Kapi Natto says there will be a new National Men’s team known as the Kapuls for the 2022 world cup qualifier to be announced later this year.
