Hela Wigmen gets new branding agent

The Kroton Hela Wigmen has partnered with Axellerate Sports to be its official branding and merchandising agent for 2018 Digicel Cup Competition season 2018.

Axellerate Sports, based in Port Moresby, has joined in the support for the Kroton Hela Wigmen Rugby League Franchise through its Axellerate brand of Rugby League Custom Apparel, Training Gear, Body Science Supplements, and Medical First Aid Supplies, which is a required boost for the team for the remainder of the season.
Wigmen Chairman Andy Hetra stated that Axellerate was a very strong PNG brand and had a strong supply chain as well.

“All Wigmen merchandise will also be sold by Axellerate Sports store which will give an opportunity to our fans to proudly wear the Wigmen colours on their sleeves and be part of the greater Wigmen sporting family,” said Mr Hetra.
“We hope to expand this partnership into the future as well.”
Managing Director for Axellerate Sports, Anthony Toscano, said that he was pleased to be involved with the Kroton Hela Wigmen.

“The management of Wigmen wanted to lift the standards of their apparel, off field training gear, diet and supplements, and training equipment and it has been a pleasure dealing with both the players and the management,” said Mr Toscano.
“They have embraced the professional approach that Axellerate Sports has delivered for them.”
Mr Toscano added that there will be Official Supporters Singlets and T-Shirts as well which will be available at the Axellerate Sports shop for kids right through to adults. PNGFM
