Police in Solomon Islands investigate death at beach west of Honiara

Police in Guadalcanal Province, Solomon Islands are investigating the dead of a male adult at a location west of Honiara last night.

The police was only alerted to the incident after the body had been taken to the National Referral Hospital (NRH).

“We want to call on the family and relatives of the deceased to allow the police to continue with its investigation into the matter and not to take the law into your own hands,” says Supervising Commissioner of Police, Juanita Matanga.

Police investigators from Guadalcanal Province are investigating the events leading up to the death of the male adult person.
