Port Moresby can be a major metropolitan city
He outlined the vision when opening the K37 million Magani Crescent Road at Morata.
The road is 5.3km long.
Parkop thanked Prime Minister Peter O’Neill and his Government for their commitment to the people of NCD and Papua New Guinea, with the support of reputable stakeholders like Bank South Pacific.
“Magani Crescent and other major road development in the capital city of PNG is a reflection of NCDC and the O’Neill-Abel Government’s vision and commitment,” he said.
“I have been determined, patient and spent a lot of time to transform this city.
“Dubai was desert, revenue income was limited but today is a major metropolitan city of the world.
“We can do that too.”
