PNG PM O'neill invited to world meet

Papua New Guinea Prime Minister Peter O'Neill will be the first Pacific Island leader to attend the WEF(World Economy Forum) annual meeting when it takes place next week in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland.

PM said meeting the world leaders and heading business executives is particularly relevant considering the challenges faced in the current global economy.

O'Neill said," while we have seen the worst of these challenges for now, we should never be complacent and learn from the challenges".
PNG engaged in World Economy Forum is a good news for us as a developing nation.
The positive change taking place in PNG is the important massage we are taking to the World Economy Forum.

O'Neill said, the world is viewing PNG "as a fast developing country".
"As we prepares to host 2018 APEC leaders, we must ensure that the policy agenda this year deliver real outcome for the people of our country and our region".
