KOKODA CASE ADJOURNED TO JUNE

Toksy Jacob, the young boy from Kokoda who was charged for rape and arm robbery against the British couple, will now have to wait in prison for a further 2 months as police are yet to collect more information from the couple who had laid the complaint. They too are witnesses to the case and police prosecutors say the couple are in Australia but they need more time to get more information from them. Magistrate Garry UNJO adjourned the case to the 23rd of June but also informed parties that this will be the last adjournment. He warned that the case would be struck out if they police prosecutors fail to make submission on the day.
