Television Networks form Partnership to broadcast NRL coverage

Digicel Play has today announced a unique arrangement of private-public partnership with the National Broadcasting Commission television network which will see three weekly NRL matches aired on NBC network.

The partnership will also see the ANZAC Test and State of Origin series aired on both television networks while the SP PNG Hunters and Digicel Cup matches will be aired on Digicel Play.

“This is an exciting Partnership and once again shows Digicels commitment to our broadcasting responsibilities in PNG and one that will benefit communities all across the country given their passion in rugby league and the NRL.

In accepting the partnership, Acting Managing Director of NBC Mr Kora Nou said this is a win-win arrangement for both networks but mostly for the benefit of the footy fans and followers in the country.
