Tongan Prime Minister Akilis Pahiva visiting Papua New Guinea

The Prime Minister of Kingdom of Tonga, Akilis Pahiva is visiting Papua New Guinea. He will arrive in Port Moresby on Sunday  at 2 pm.  Prime Minister, Peter O’Neill, says he's looking forward to welcoming the Prime Minister  Pōhiva, to Papua New Guinea. 

Mr O'Neill says the Tongan Prime Minister is on a visit that will strengthen economic and cultural relations and share knowledge from hosting the 2015 Pacific Games.
Tonga is the host of the 2019 Pacific Games.
Mr O'Neill says there is a lot of information and support that can be shared with Tonga following PNG's hosting of the Pacific Games last year.
He says as Pacific Islands Forum Chair, there are also a number of issues that he will discuss with Prime Minister Pōhiva, including fisheries and climate change.
