PNG Lewas beat China by 7 wickets

Papua New Guinea's women's cricket team, the Lewas beat China by seven wickets to win the Shield at the I-C-C World Twenty 20 qualifiers in Thailand over the weekend.
Captain Norma Ovasuru and vice captain Tanya Ruma steered the Lewas home in 18 point 3 overs, after China set a total 93 for the loss of 4 wickets in their allotted 20 overs.
Meanwhile, there was high drama in the final of the World Qualifier when Ireland defeated Bangladesh by two wickets to clinch victory off the last ball of the game.
Bangladesh scored 105 for the loss of three wickets, while Ireland lost 8 wickets to pass the score on the last ball of the 20th over.
Ireland and Bangladesh have advanced to next years I-C-C Women's World T-20 in India.
