Pacific Games Council impressed with games facilities
The Pacific Games Council this morning gave their seal of approval to the host PNG as the host nation and our ability to host the 15th 2015 Pacific Games.
President Vidhya Lakhan expressed satisfaction that PNG is indeed ready for the Games.
"Given the usual teething problems in any such major regional event, the host country has shown that they are willing and able to rise up and receive the other 23 visiting nations and their athletes," says Mr Lakhan.
He also told members of the local and international media assembled that this Games village, although not a hotel, were far better than most seen in years before.
He further urged the 24 competing nations to not only do their best for their respective countries, but to enjoy the experience of the Pacific Games at hand.
