Solomon Islands NTU arranges seven charters for students travel to Fiji

The Solomon Island National Training Unit (NTU) has arranged seven plane charters to fly students studying in Fiji this year.

NTU chief administration officer Hubert Gua revealed the arrangement this week as new and continuing students prepare to leave for Fiji for another year of study.

He said the first charter will leave on January 27.

“We’ve already received results of the USP students and we are now working on the listing of the charter flights,” Mr Gua explained.

“We are yet to receive the results of students studying at Fiji National University (FNU), University of Fiji, and Fulton College,” he added.

Mr Gua said students holidaying in their home provinces should start making their way back to Honiara to be in time for the charter flights.

“Please, if you know that you are a sponsored student under SIG Scholarship, I urge you to be on time to check for your names and which charter you’ll be on.”
