Goodman Fielder responds to Volcano disaster in East Sepik

Goodman Fielder, who have the famous brands of Flame Flour and Skel Rice have responded to a plea from the office of the Minister for Inter-Government Relations & Member for Wewak Hon. Kevin Isifu.

The Member called on Goodman Fielder to support the displaced people of Biem Island and Kadovar Island with flour in their time of need.

Morobe Provincial Disaster Coordinator, Charles Masange received the Flame Flour and was surprised to see a tonne of Skel Rice added to the donation.

‘The good people of the Sepik Province are great supporters of Skel Rice and it made sense for GFI to give something back to the community that has made Skel Rice the fastest growing rice brand in PNG’, said Marketing Manager Jeremy Fry.

At 10pm on Monday night a container left Lae Port bound for Wewak with supplies for those impacted directly by the volcano.
