Puma Energy and Pacific towing donate K4000 to NGO

TWO corporate entities have combined forces and jointly donated K4000 to support a not for profit organisation’s feeding and schooling program in a local community in Port Moresby.

They are Puma Energy (PNG) Limited and Pacific Towing (PNG) Limited-a Steamships divisional company, which each contributed K2000.

Located at Seven Mile, ATS Oro settlement, Tembari Children’s Care was founded by Penny Sagembo to help vulnerable children in this community. Tembari Children's Care chairman, Howard Sagembo said the entity provides meals for 120 children on a daily basis.

“If we do not feed them, they will go hungry,” Mr  Sagembo said.

Mr Sagembo said the school on the other hand educates 600 children up to Grade 6 and that they appreciate all the help they can get.

Pacific Towing (PNG) Ltd general manager Neil Papenfus said that they were long term supporters of Tembari Children Care and urged the business community to offer support.
