Miss Pacific Islands thanks PNG Supporters

Miss Pacific Islands Abigail Havora has thanked Papua New Guineans for their support after winning the Miss Pacific Islands crown. This is  the first time in 6 years, A Miss PNG Abigail Havora  has again won the Miss Pacific Island crown .
Ms Havora also won the Best Sarong award and the Best Talent Performance award.
 Ms Havora described her win as overwhelming and a very humbling experience for her.
“The support I got from Papua New Guineans back home boosted my spirits and gave me the confidence that I can do a great job representing PNG. So when we won the crown, it was a beautiful moment and I will always remember that moment I made my country proud,” says Ms Havora.
The newly crowned Miss Pacific Island also thanked Papua New Guineans for the support they have shown to help her win and is looking forward to give back to PNG , the positives from the experience gained.
Ms Havora works with Voice Inc and deals with young people on a daily basis, which has help her to see the real need and gift of youths.
She said, most young people especially girls tend to forget their purpose in life which demoralises their confidence and this is something she would like to address as it is important to her based on her experiences.
Ms Havora adds, “I’ve seen the difference it has made in my life. The only way you can believe in yourself is to know your purpose. Just learning to be confident and comfortable with who you are because we are all unique and have something to offer in life. So don’t be afraid to bring it out.”
