Papua New Guinea outraged by Terrorist attacks

The Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea, Peter O’Neill  has expressed shock and outrage at the senseless loss of life in France today.
Prime Minister O’Neill has extended the sympathies and condolences of Papua New Guinea to the people and the Government of France.
“This is a horrific loss of human life in most outrageous circumstances,” the Prime Minister said as the situation continues to unfold in Paris.
“The prayers of Papua New Guineans are with the people of France as we watch and hope that there will not be further loss of life.
“There are no words that can truly describe the outrage we feel at seeing in these acts of brutality.
“The global community of peaceful nations must work together to deal with this continuing threat.
“This must be at many levels to police and apprehend people who are involved with committing such acts, and to deal with the root causes that drive people to extremism.
"The Department of Foreign Affairs and the Papua New Guinea Embassy in Brussels will work with French Authorities to seek information on any Papua New Guinea citizens who are in France at the present time and potentially at risk.”
