Rabaul Agmark Gurias win 2015 Digicel Cup

The Rabaul Agmark Gurias are the 2015 Digicel Cup winners after they convincingly belted  TNA Simbu Lions   with score of 26 - 18 in front of a sell-out crowd  of over 16 000  at the Sir John Guise stadium in Port Moresby.

It was the  Rabaul Gurias who scored three tries to get the lead in the first half with score of 18-8. In the second half, the TNA Lions  fought back with to tries to square the score to 18-18 all. The Gurias regrouped and sent prop Pidi Tongap to score the winning try and to extend the lead to 24 - 18. With minutes left on the clock, the win was sealed when frustration caused the Lions to give away a penalty right in front of the posts. Gurias shot for goal to win the 2015 Digicel Cup with a score of 26 - 18.
