PNG MISS OUT WORLD 20-20 TOURNAMENT

Papua New Guinea have missed out on a spot in next year's world 2020 cricket tournament, after loosing their winner takes all qualifying match against Afghanistan by 6 wickets.
Charles Amini and Norman Vanua finished with 37 and 22 not out to help the Barramundis go from 66 reply after 15 overs to post 127 for 6.
Vanua gave PNG further hope dismissing Muhammad Zhezar of the first ball of their innings before Afghanistan consolidated with a 57 runs stand for the second wicket.
But in the end, it wasn't enough for PNG to defend with Nazibulah Zazran smashing the sixth, to send Afghanistan to enter the World 2020 tournament in India, with the team bowls and six wickets to spare.
They were later joined by Oman who field the final qualifying spot.
