Houses for Bougainville Police

Contracts have been signed for police houses to be built in the Autonomous Region of Bougainville.

Acting Chief Administrator for Bougainville, Chris Siriosi, says the A-B-G allocated five-million Kina for this project in its 2013 budget.

Mr. Siriosi adds, the A-B-G has given more money in this year's money plan for the welfare, capacity, training and facilities for police.

He appeals to the Bougainville Law and Justice Sector, to work in partnership with the Police Service there, to coordinate and establish a strategic action plan outlining the project needs of the force.

Mr. Siriosi announced this during the Legal Year Opening at Hagogohe Constituency, this week.
