PNG attractive destination for investment : O'neill

Prime Minister Peter O’Neill says, business confidence in P-N-G as an attractive investment destination, was very high.

He said this, after meeting with a number of business leaders this week and flying to Lae last week, to officiate at the opening of a new modern processing plant for Prima Smallgoods.

O'Neill flies to Bali, Indonesia, for the Asia Pacific Economic Corporation meeting, tomorrow.

He will hold talks with leaders of some APEC member countries, to continue to promote P-N-G, its growing economy and the opportunities that are on offer.

The Prime Minister said in a statement, P-N-G has a very stable political environment now. 

He states, with its policies being implemented now, the Government is directly addressing issues that drive costs of doing business in P-N-G up, like poor roads and law and order problems.
