Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea (4E) – Air Niugini Papua New Guinea’s national air carrier will operate direct flights to Bali, Indonesia.
The inaugural flight to Denpasar, Bali, is set for August 5 this year.
According to PNG media, Board chairman of Air Niugini, Garth McIlwain said the flights to Bali will extend the airline’s capacity in the Pacific and the region.

Indonesian’s national airline, Garuda International, will also operate flights to PNG through a code-sharing agreement with Air Niugini, which will allow passengers to use a ticket from one airline to travel on another. The Bali flights will also give easy access to those travelling to Fiji and Singapore.
Air Niugini currently operates to 25 domestic ports and 10 international destinations.
Some international destinations that Air Niugini travels to include Hong Kong, Fiji, Australia, Singapore, Tokyo and Cebu in the Philippines, just to name a few.
