New Zealand made it two wins from two after beating Vanuatu 1-0 at the Oceania under-20 World Cup soccer qualifying tournament in Fiji.
Following a 5-0 romp against Papua New Guinea, the New Zealanders met stiffer resistance from Vanuatu.
A side-footed goal by forward Van Elia in the 23rd minute proved decisive for a New Zealand side who next face New Caledonia on Monday.
