Marie Stopes PNG relocates Boroko centre to Hohola

Marie Stopes PNG has relocated its old Boroko Centre to Hohola.
Starting today (Monday, 8th August) all family planning and reproductive health consultation and services will be from the new centre at Hohola and not Boroko.
Marie Stopes PNG is the largest non-governmental organisation (NGO) dealing with family planning and reproductive health in PNG for about 10 years now.
MSPNG had been in operation at the Boroko centre for about 7 years since 2009.
MSPNG Country Director Maarten van de Reep said the relocation was needed to cater for the number of clients that come in daily to receive family planning information and services.
“The old space at Boroko was too small and not conducive for us to work in.
“He said clients will now have a secured area and a good environment to come to for consultation and service.
“The new location at Hohola is conducive as it is closer to the main bus stop, market and shops”, van de Reep said.
He added that due to the nature of the work of MSPNG, clients needed privacy and confidentially and the new space will provide just that for them.
“We aim to give the best service to our clients and with the new spacious centre at Hohola; we hope those who come for our service will enjoy the new environment.
He said clients and partners who need more information on the new Hohola centre can call MSPNG toll free 1200 or check Marie Stopes PNG Facebook page for more information to get to the new location.
