Fraud Squad Office Opens

The National Fraud and Anti Corruption Directorate office has been opened after 3 weeks.
Deputy Police Commissioner Operations Jim Andrews unlocked the chains at 3 o'clock this afternoon.
All fraud officers including Director Matthew Damaru and his Deputy Timothy Gitua were there to witness the re- opening.
There were conditions that the directorate would follow to report on high profile cases.
A new vetting comittee made up of senior officers and the deputy public prosecutor will be part of the committee the directorate would report to.
Director Matthew Damaru is pleased with the outcome.
