Vision City in Port Moresby to expand megamall

THE management of Vision City plans to expand the image of the shopping megamall this year to make it the biggest and safest, general manager Anderson Ting says.
“Part of the mall activities for 2016 will include local and international fashion (shows), automobile road shows and many more surprises,’’ he said.
“We are planning for free wi-fi to be extended once all mechanisms are in place - hopefully before the end of the first quarter.”
Apart from the beautification part of the management plan, training will be provided for mall attendants to ensure there is top quality customer service skills “to make all guests, customers and visitors feel that they are being treated fairly without any discrimination’’.
“Career development and training of local staff for managerial position is also one of the main focus as a way of giving something back to PNG society,” he said.
“The management is looking for ways to improve security issues in preparation for the 2018 APEC (Asia Pacific Economic Conference)  summit in Port Moresby.”
