PNG Hunters halfback Roger Laka retires from the game

Former PNG Hunters halfback Roger Laka has officially retired from rugby league . The little general said there was plenty of new players coming through and he thought it was time to let the new crop get there opportunity in the Hunter's system.
Laka will not walk away from the game altogether he has been asked to join PNG Hunters staff as assistant Coach and Trainer .
PNG Hunters coach Michael Marum said he was happy to have Laka onboard to assist his a former Hunters player and he knows the game quite well so he will bring some much needed experience to 2016 Hunters campaign .

Meanwhile, the Hunters team is in full training at the Papua New Guinea Institute of Public Administration college.
