Digicel Foundation Community Learning Centre through their Xmas Program, held its Christmas visit today to Gateway children fund school at Erima Wildlife.
The school provides classes from pre kiddy, preschool and elementary with about 15 students to one class; this community learning centre’s Christmas program started on the 23rd of November and will end on the 12th of December and it involves Digicel department staffs.
The surprise visit was part of the Digicel Foundation Community Learning Centre’s Christmas program where the Digicel Marketing, Production and Retail staffs bought Christmas presents, sweet gift packs and celebrated, they sang the new famous Digicel Christmas song (We are Family) and danced with all those children smiling with joy.
Digicel Foundation Program Manager, Helen Haro stated that this program is aimed at providing support to community based project in providing learning materials to those unfortunate children aged 4-6 years who attend Pre-Kidder garden, preschool and elementary classes in those communities.
The program was established in 2010 with the objective to basically thanking the children for attending school throughout the school year with the encouragement to continue into the coming year.
