Hekari United has created history by dominating for the eighth time, the Telikom National Soccer League, after the finals played in Port Moresby yesterday.

Hekari clinched the win the eighth time, by thrashing rival FC Port Moresby, three goals to nil, at the Sir John Guise Stadium.

Hekari scored the three goals in the first half and maintained the lead into the second half.

The champions will represent the PNG Football Association in the Oceania League or O' League comes the next season.

NBC Sports reports FC Port Moresby spoiled their chances to score but managed to hold back the Hekari's from scoring into the second half.

In the other games played in Lae's Sir Ignatius Kilage Stadium young Besta FC defeated Gigira Laitepo Morobe FC three goals to one in front of a good crowd.
