Koitabuan Challenges Moresby North West MP
Chairman of the Baruni Village Court Magistrate Tom. T. Daure has challenged the member for Moresby North West in the National Capital District, Sir Mekere Morauta to fulfil his mandated duties as an elected member for the people.
Mr. Daure said people of Moresby North West, particularly the Motu Koitabuan’s have been quiet for far too long while their land was been taken away from them with proper consultation.
He also noted the pile of rubbish especially plastics being washed up along the bay’s of the coastal Motu Koitabuan villages and appealed to the MP to provide some incentives to encourage major clean up’s in the areas.
