Four men caught after stealing a laptop at Lae main Market

Four men were caught by Market Police, with the assistance of the public after they stole a laptop.

This happened on Saturday 13/01/18. The four men had tampered with and opened a vehicle while the owner was in the market.

They were caught by Police and were arrested and charged.

We will continue to post faces of frequent street peddlers on this page, so that you can recognise them when you come across them.

Lae Main Market is always a problem for us with pick pocketing, bag snatching, street vendors and stealing from vehicles.

The Market Police have stepped up and are being assisted by our Foot Beat Unit.
