Solomon Islands Police investigate sudden death of a male in North Guadalcanal
Police in Guadalcanal Province are investigating the sudden death of a male in his 50’s at Matepona Bridge, North Guadalcanal on 05 October 2017.
Provincial Police Commander, Guadalcanal Province, Nixson Manetoga says, “reports reaching police alleged that the deceased suddenly collapsed and struggled to breathe while waiting for transport with his market produce.”
PPC Manetoga says, “The deceased was then transported shortly after the incident to Good Samaritan Hospital and but was later pronounced dead.”
The male person is reported to be from Savo Island in the Central Islands Province but was living at the Savo settlement in the Kamau area.
Provincial Police Commander Manetoga conveys his sympathy and condolences to the family of the deceased.
