Police investigators are awaiting a doctor to conduct an immediate post mortem before the cause of death can be determined following the sudden passing away of 25 year old Regina Morove.
Homicide says the first medical specialist had disqualified himself from the conducting the post -mortem so a 2nd doctor was sought but is out of NCD.
Police say no arrests have been made as yet and the main suspect has not been called in for questioning until they receive the post- mortem results, which is expected to take place today.
The parents of the victim say they found out that Regina had died on Sunday 15th May 2016, from a shot gun wound by the husband who claims it was an accident.
Details of what happened to Regina remain sketchy as parents say statements by two of their relatives (who were present during the incident) have also been passed on to police investigators.
They are banking on the police investigations to determine the truth.
Complainants of this case are both relatives of Regina and the Husband.
Regina leaves behind a 7 month old baby with her funeral to be held tomorrow. PNGFM/ ONE PNG
