PNG PM Peter O’Neill says forum best ever held

PACIFIC Islands Forum chairman and Papua New Guinea Prime Minister Peter O’Neill  described last week’s PIF in Port Moresby as “the best forum that’s ever been held”.
O’Neill, accompanied by PIF Secretariat Secretary-General and fellow Papua New Guinean Dame Meg Taylor said:
“I’ve attended five (PIFs) so far and I can tell you, without boasting too much about Papua New Guinea, this is by far the best forum that’s  been held.
“The hard work, I’ve never attended a forum with so many meetings like this.”
Dame Meg said: “I’m deeply grateful to the Government of Papua New Guinea and the people of Papua New Guinea for the support that they’ve given to all of us in holding the Pacific Islands Forum here.
“I’m particularly grateful that it’s my beloved homeland and I’m glad to be back.
