Nauru's First Lady impressed with Buk bilong Pikinini libraries

The wife of Nauru's President Baron Waqa, says she's impressed with the Buk bilong Pikinini libraries in Papua New Guinea.
Nauru's First Lady Louisa Waqa, says their programs are not as big, and she would like to implement a similar program when she returns to her country.
The Buk bilong Pikinini program provides Early Childhood Literacy sessions for children aged between 4 and 6, and currently has 16 libraries in the country.
Lady Waqa was among the wives of other Pacific Islands Leaders who visited the Buk bilong Pikinini library at the University of Papua New Guinea in Port Moresby yesterday.
The wives of the leaders are in the country accompanying their husbands to the Pacific Islands Forum which ends tomorrow.
