AFUNIKA ROCKS CLUB ILLUSION IN POM

Zambian singer Frank Chiwa better known as Afunika ended his final leg of his PNG Tour at Club Illusion on Saturday organized by Sapience Entertainment which kept fans on their feet and singing to his songs when he performed his popular hits such as Kulimbe, Mutima, Wako and Malinso which have rocked the PNG radio airwave and has gained popularity especially among young listeners.
The club was reached its capacity at 10pm with locals as well as the African community in PNG who showed up to support the event.
The two weeks tour kicked off on the 14th August at Lae Dragons club, he also performed at Kokopo, Arawa, Buka, Kimbe and finally at Club Illusion on Saturday accompanied by his female dancers from Zambia it was a show worth seeing.
Sapience Entertainment Promoter Francis Sakala said they planned on making entertainment worth the money spent by fans.
Signing up Afunika for the tour was not a struggle because he was excited to visit Papua New Guinea because this was his first time in the region to experience PNG’s rich cultural and diversity.
It was a welcoming and overwhelming support the artist received from the locals and he was quite amazed at the turn out at the different venues and the popularity of the his songs in PNG.
