PNG Government warned

The Papua New Guinea Government has been advised to tighten its fiscal expenditure, to cushion any spillover effects by the drop in world oil prices, on the country's economy.
Experts say, countries in East Asia-Pacific including P-N-G, are likely to see lower growth and government revenues.
Domestically, the Government is taking measures, as it implements the 2015 Budget.
Treasurer, Patrick Pruaitch told NBC 's Kundu 2 News, the Treasury in partnership with Bank of P-N-G, is cautiously warning the Government to spend only on priority areas.
