MEASLES CLAIM 12 LIVES IN KEREMA

Measles has claimed another 12 lives in the Gulf Province.
The four adults and 8 children died in the remote Kotindanga Local Level Government area.
Provincial Disease Control Officer, Elvis Pirika has reported that 1,855 other people in this area have been treated for measles.
Mr. Pirika said in his report that there were two deaths in Popo Village in East Kerema and not three as reported earlier.
