Rebels deny fire

The West Papua Revolutionary Army has denied reports, that its camps in the mountains close to the Wutung border between PNG and Indonesia, have not been burnt down by PNG Defence Force soldiers.
A member of the group Timothy Wenda, told NBC News, their hideouts in the mountains are safe.
The group, which rebelled against Indonesian rule, further said houses at Wamena campsite outside Wutung village, were burnt by PNG soldiers over the weekend, after locals were accused of harboring rebels from the Organisasi Papua Merdeka or OPM.
Last week, the group's Chief General Mathias Wenda, warned, all activities at the border, including trading and people movement, to stop.
Timothy Wenda said the border is quiet, and absent of any activity.
