The East Asia Pacific Twenty20 cricket championship has begun in New Zealand, with defending champions Papua New Guinea making a winning start in the seven-nation tournament.
After a commanding win over Indonesia on Monday morning, PNG's batsmen continued their impressive form against Vanuatu at Auckland's Waika-Raka Park, where they smashed 7 for 199 from their 20 overs.
Vanuatu's batsmen couldn't keep pace with the challenging 10 runs an over needed for victory.
PNG secured a 30 run victory, and their third win from as many matches.
